Things and Stuff

Had a migraine yesterday. It was the first migraine I’ve had in 204 days. I’m quite proud of that streak, actually. It’s a lot longer than I ever imagined I’d go without having a migraine.

What caused the migraine? I was stupid and had caffeine three days in a row, with a couple of extra days thrown in just before that.

Migraine Free, 180 Days…

And counting!

This is the longest I’ve gone without a migraine in 40 years.

For those of you just joining us or not playing along at home, I’ve had migraines since I was 18, generally 2 per month. They turned nasty back in 2015, and I started having 12-15 migraines every month.

Migraine Monday

Woke up with a pretty bad migraine this morning. I figure it’s the emotional and physical stress from last week catching up with me. Plus, working outside in all that heat, and possibly slightly dehydrated.

I averaged well over 11K steps per day last week, even though I had one day where I only walked 7K.

Woke up yesterday with a bad headache, that transmuted into a migraine after a few hours. It was absolutely not a migraine when I first woke up. I was able to go to the gym and do yoga. It wasn’t until a couple hours later that it finally changed.

It’s been 101 days since my last migraine.

I’m kind of impressed by that number as well.

For those of you just coming into this blog, I used to get 12-15 migraines per month.

I had three migraines in 2018. So far, I’ve only had three migraines in 2019.
