Accountability Mar 2

Lost weight this past week. I had compressed my eating window significantly in the hopes that would move the needle in the right direction, and it did.

I am not convinced that I will be able to maintain my current eating habits, however. I’m really hungry in the mornings. This is not good, as it leads to headaches. I don’t want to overeat in the evenings – I eat until I’m full. I’m not sure what I’m going to do. May start drinking the bone broth an hour earlier.

I have been without caffeine in the mornings for a week now. That doesn’t seem to be a big thing.

I didn’t get to the gym. However, I also got to 10K steps at least two days without going to the gym, and was close enough the rest of the time, given the week I had last week.

I had a migraine yesterday. First time in 123 days. That’s about average for me – I get a migraine once every 100-150 days or so. It was bad in that there was pain for a long while. Though I thought I had some brain, I really didn’t. Lasted about 12 hours, which is long for me these days.

However, the good thing about “treating” a migraine by walking, drinking water, and meditating, is that when it’s gone, it’s completely gone. There’s no “migraine hangover” which I used to get when I took meds.

I also treated the migraine by having some coffee. I had always assumed that I would use caffeine medicinally once I quit using it habitually. Honestly, it didn’t have that much effect. Maybe it helped a little. Maybe it’s too soon for caffeine to be effective.

Did not write yesterday. Did think more about the story I’m currently in, building out the character more. She’s a PI, and coming up with irregular cases for her is going to be interesting. But I do think she’s a series character – at least I’m building her that way.

So many things to do today! I really fell behind last week. Need to catch up this week, as next week I go on a writing marathon. What have you fallen behind on? Me, I have taxes and email stuff to do, plus publishing.
