The last time I managed that was October 2023. That was also the only month in 2023 that I wrote that much. The last year that I consistently wrote 50K per month was 2019.…
I haven’t talked about my writing much lately. (Then again, I haven’t been blogging regularly at all. I’m trying to change that, to start chatting with y’all again. Not going to guarantee a weekly basis, but that’s kind of what I’m shooting for.)…

This last week, I’ve been doing an unplanned writing marathon. It’s been fun.
Particularly when what I really had thought would be a 40K novel turned out to be a 55K novel.
A friend needed a novel for a project, in a hurry.…
Like a lot of you, I’ve been having difficulty focusing on the writing. Even when I’ve used enough discipline to get to the page, I still find the words aren’t flowing that well.
