Marathon Day Five

Day Five! Final Marathon Day! 8000 words, 5000 steps.

I didn’t sleep last night. The chart that my Fitbit produces was just ugly, filled with red lines of all the time I was awake. I honestly think it was just because I was so warm all night.

Writing Marathon, Day Four

It’s Day Four of the Writing Marathon! 10,000 more words written, 10,000 more steps taken!

As I suspected would be the case, today was mostly easier than yesterday. It was easy to start, easy to fall into the words, easy to walk.

Day Three Marathon!

Day Three Marathon! 10K words, 10K steps.

As has happened with other marathons, today, Wednesday, was the hardest day so far. I’m more tired, even though I slept pretty well last night. I find I’m misspelling words—more than usual—and falling into my habit of spelling thing backwards.

Writing Marathon: Day Two

Marathon, Day Two. 10,000 words and 10,000 steps!

I didn’t sleep well last night. I was awake from 1 AM to 4 AM.

I was afraid that this might happen sometime or another during the marathon. I hadn’t planned on it rising up so soon.

Writing Marathon, Day One

Day One Writing Marathon!

10,000 words, check!

10,000 steps, check!

I’m working on book four, and the last book of this series, which is currently called, “The Fallen Elves.” I spent last week going through books two and three, adding things and cleaning them up, but also getting the world and the characters back in my head.

Half-Marathon Recap

This week I was doing a half-marathon. My original goal was 5K words per day, 10K steps per day.

However, Monday morning rolled around and my knee let me know in no uncertain terms that 10K steps was off the table.

Half Marathon

I’m doing what I’m calling a half-marathon this week.

Instead of a full-on writing marathon, where I do 10K words as well as 10K steps per day, I’m doing half that. 5K words and 5K steps.

I’d originally planned on doing 5K words and 10K steps.
