Managed 500 words of rewrite today. Didn’t actually write more than a sentence or two beyond the end of where I’d been, but at least I managed something. I actually have been writing the last few days, but it’s all been rewriting.

I did make progress on the novel this weekend, I just didn’t post about it. But I made inroads with the next chapter, outlining as well as writing. So though I’m not making the kind of progress I should be making, at least I made some. My laptop should be home either today or tomorrow

Today: Rewrote parts of chapter one, the interlude, as well as this chapter I’m working on, chapter 2. Wrote an additional 500 words, including three very bad haikus. Stopping now because I’m to the point that I’m hating every single word I’m writing. But that’s okay. I’m not a writer, but a rewriter (see above.)
