Took a couple of days, but I think I have the first chapter hammered into shape.

Tomorrow – the first interlude! All poetic and rambling and such. Should be good fun.

      This is the Japanese fox fairy novel. The gist of it is this:

      A female fox fairy’s mate has his soul stolen and then reforged into a sword. The female fox fairy needs to find the sword and break the spell. Of course, it isn’t as easy as that.

          Oh yes. My book is set a bit earlier than hers, and though it uses a lot of the same source materials, is a very different book.

    yes and no. i’m home sick (that’s the “no”) but i am not at work (that’s the yes).

        yah – things have gotten better. i’m [re]learning \ working to exercise control over that which i actually can and letting go of the rest.

      Have started working on the novel again — have finished the next part (interlude) and am into the next chapter. Will try to get back to the daily word count next week. There’s just been too much stuff in RL recently.

      Signed up for WisCon today — picked the panels I want to be on. Probably won’t do a reading, might do a signing. . .
