Word count: 691.
Reason for quitting: Finished chapter 1.

Hate it. Hate the whole thing. Will rewrite tomorrow. The events are correct, but the character arc needs reshaping. So probably no word count tomorrow, just a redoing of what I did today.

Hope ya’ll are having a lovely, lovely day. Me? I’m finding it easier to breathe, but am still pretty far from 100%.

    It was a pretty day outside — bright sun and summer-like temperatures — well. For Maine. I, of course, spent all day inside reading what there is of Sword of Orion so I can begin my run through it while the co-author finishes up the last of his part. Then we get to finish Crystal Dragon. Note to self: Never Again agree to turn in two different books on the same day.

    Breathing is Good…

      Breathing is very much of the good. It’s beautiful here today – all the snow is melting.

      And yeah, turning in two different books on the same day just sounds like self-abuse to me. . . (^_^)

    Scattered clouds and spattered rain. Spent the day holed up in a coffee shop, marking up the last four chapters of the novel. Need to make a couple more passes through the hardcopy before making final edits, though — following threads through, and the like. Also, the read-aloud pass.
