The good stuff

Dove into the new novel for the first time today. (The first novel is called Harp of Stars. This one is called Harp of Light.) Wrote 1000 words this morning. Guess what I’m holding in my hands? A completed copy of the new novel. 509 pages. 102, 520 words. SO VERY HAPPY. In other news, during the training walk today my hip kind of went out (at mile 11 of a 16 mile walk.) Muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatories, cold-heat-repeat has helped. I’m a lot better now

I didn’t go to JayCon this weekend — I decided that I’m so whacked out busy that spending the day driving to Portland and back would be sincerely crazy. Plus, the root canal I had last week has gotten infected, and I’m on antibiotics. (Which seem to be working — I am so much better.
