Long time no post, I know.
To summarize: WisCon was wonderful, as always. The day job is kicking my ass. I’m still in training for the 3-day walk, and that’s eating up more and more of my time.
However, while at WisCon I did get fired up about writing again, and I’m trying to ride that wave. So I’ve given up my unstructured mornings in order to write. I’ve been pretty good, and have been working on the novel almost every day since I returned home from WisCon. I’m in the rewriting phase — I’m printing out every chapter and reading it out loud. I finished the reading part of chapter eight last night, and this morning will start making those corrections to the file.
I plan on attending JayCon in a couple of weeks, and as many Clarion parties as I can.
I hope all of you are well and happy and not as crazy-busy as I am right now!
Hey, see you at JayCon!
I’m looking forward to it!
A few of us are thinking about riding down to JayCon together, if you’re interested in carpooling. 😀
And long time no see!
I am interested in carpooling. I saw Mysti last night and she said she was thinking about staying over Saturday night. Would you be interested in that as well? My brother lives in Portland and so we could all descend upon him (yes, this is the one who recently got married.)
I could be up for that, and I’ll check with Linz. She and I were going to make a one-day trip of it, but mostly because we were feeling too cheap to pay for a hotel room.
