Fake it ’til you make it
I tend to approach the world with confidence. Or at least most people who know me believe that. And it’s mostly true. It isn’t that my confidence is faked — but sometimes it isn’t as complete as it appears externally. It may be squishy, easily dissolved, or even hollow in places. This weekend I received

Make your Facebook profile secure
If you have a Facebook account, and, like me, can’t leave (family is there) and you want to make sure that Facebook is not sharing your information, go here and follow the instructions: http://www.reclaimprivacy.org/ They have a fancy Javascript that will check your Facebook settings for you. Of this and that
I was in SF last week, for training. I wrote every morning. One of the things I’m doing is summarizing the books in different ways. I already had the “pitches” for the novels — 1 paragraph short, catchy descriptions of the books. I first created longer blurbs — think back cover of a paperback —

Updatedness
There are several things that I want to write posts about. However it’s still painful for me to type, so I’m “saving” my limited typing time for the day job and the novel. Like changing the flavor of this blog slightly — keeping the writing posts but adding more tech posts, so instead of blogging
today
Today was better. If I sit perfectly still with my arm supported I can actually be out of pain for a while, for the first time in a week. I was able to work a little, for about an hour at a time, then I’d have to go lay down and rest. For a lot
