Still working

Still not well. No brain to speak of. However, I’m not going to break my 100 day push. So for my writing tonight, I’m using the Word grammar checker on the third novel for 30 minutes. It’s close to brainless — very little rewriting.

However, it isn’t useless. I think the grammar checker can useful for finding fragments in descriptions as well as misplaced colons.

The reason I’m using the Word grammar checker, and not the Mac one, is because I’ve never been able to figure out how to configure the grammar rules on the Mac. On the PC I know how to specify which rules to check for and which to ignore.

What’s your most mindless writing task?

ETA: I just realized this is my 6 year LJ-versary. I started this journal on March 27th, 2004. What a long, strange trip it’s been. . . *G*

    1. Am better but still not well.

I think I get sick often enough that it’s really important for me to find the more “brainless” tasks.
