      Ack. Sick has been about 2 1/2 weeks now. Infection in my larnyx. Voice keeps going on holiday. General mild cold symptoms plus a sore throat that just won’t go away.

        been for something like around 2 years. every so often i check a friend’s friends list to see if there’s someone there i’d like. since i spent some time with this past week-end (that convention thing) i thought i’d check his.

        actually, since he mentioned you on a panel this weekend it brought you to mind and i went specifically checking.

        and here you are!!!!

        by the way, the tall redhead is about these parts as well….

    If that’s not enough to spontaneously heal you, I don’t know what would be? (Campbell Award?)

      Unfortunately, no longer eligible for the Campbell. And it didn’t spontaniously heal me, I’m afraid. Do have a call into the doctor though – so might start some antibiotics. *Anything* to get over this thing.

    Boo! for being sick. I don’t have to remind you that stress can be a contributing factor to being sick, yes?

      Thanks sweetie. Yeah, stress can be a factor. But I’ve been too sick to be stressed, if that makes any sense. Need brain in order to worry, and mine’s been on holiday. Along with my voice. (^_^)

      As for J – didn’t you know it’s all luck? And because I’m a woman. It isn’t because I have any skill or talent, or because I possibly wrote anything worth reading. . .R (you remember R from WisCon?) saw J at the big solstice party last year, where he was heard expousing such things. . .
