Just finished typing up the new story for the week, “Slipping the Leash.” I’ll do editing on it tomorrow night, and publish it.
I’m very pleased with this story. I found the ending very satisfying. I don’t know if it’ll make any sense to anyone who isn’t me. I’m also nervous about this story, since I’m writing from the POV of a character who is very, very different than me. I hope the story has enough veracity. No one is all one thing. And this character isn’t comfortable with that: she’s a teenager, and she likes extremes. Doesn’t do well with gray.
I keep thinking about what I’ll be writing next week, mulling story ideas in my head, as well as schedule. Can I finish the first story by Wednesday, then write the second one on Thursday and Friday, editing both on Saturday and publishing? We’ll see. That’s the current plan, though.
There are publishing things I need to do: I made some mistakes on the earlier files and I should reformat some of them. I will get to it in time–first priority is getting the novels up. However, I will be making some adjustments to the all new files as I upload them.
