Adjusting

Normally I try to ask a question at the bottom of my blog post but I figured I’d start with asking: how are you doing? How are you holding up? I hope that all of you are well and safe.

We’re doing fine out here.

Precautions

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you should be aware that COVID-19 is alive and kicking in these parts, that is, WA state.

We have a lot of high-tech industry here. Offices have closed, with the order for everyone to work from home for the next week or so.

This, That, and The Other

In December and January, as well as other months in 2019, my meh days had a very obvious pattern. I would have a bad day, followed by an okay to good day, followed by another meh day, for six days, so three meh days interspersed with three good enough days, followed by a series of great days until my period.

Workshop Recovery

I was at the SF workshop in Las Vegas this last week. Lot of work. Lot of fun. It was great seeing all the people at the workshop. I learned a lot, and I believe that I learned some things that were critical to improving my writing.

Physical Balance

I try to do a focus pose every morning when I do yoga. For a long time, I did a variation on tree pose. (Stand firmly on one leg, grab the ankle of the other leg behind you. Balance. Slowly lean forward, until your torso is parallel with the floor.
