Our friend Jeremy and his wife Sara run The Fortean Bureau, an online speculative fiction magazine. Their April First edition has a very special collaboration by Mike and I. Check it out!

For those new to this LJ, Mike Brotherton is my husband, and an author in his own right. His novel Star Dragon is available now.
Hey Leah –
Just thought I’d drop in and make myself at home. We’ve met at least once, at WFC. Michael Jones, among other things a book reviewer. (My review of Paper Mage was quoted for Caves). I’m currently working my way through Caves of Buda and enjoying it.
Good to see you here!
I sort of remember meeting you (sorry – I’m bad with that kind of thing.) But you did the review found at Greenman, right? Am glad you are enjoying CAVES! And thanks for the welcome.
PS. I’m assuming you have an ARC, right? There are a lot of problems with it. Like the e missing from Belusz in half the manuscript. I think one of the funnier mistakes was that it credits the magazine “Lucas” for one of my reviews. . . .
I have both ARC and the advance “box o’books”, so I’m actually reading it in the prettypretty paperback edition. 🙂 And yes, I did the Green Man review. I don’t blame you for being a bit fuzzy… after all, it was the big author-meet-person thingie at WFC. Those are always such a chaotic mess. I’m surprised anyone remembers anyone from them. 🙂
Hmmmm, a magazine called “Lucas”. There’s potential there, but for what, I’m not sure… Hmmmmmm.
Oh my! Leah Cutter, author of Paper Mage Leah Cutter? I had no idea you had a journal!
We met briefly at ConJose at the Broad Universe table; I was working behind it listening with great interest to your plans for future world domi–err, novels. 🙂
Hee! The journal is pretty new, but I have been lurking here for a while. And I do remember talking with you. Will you be at the next WFC or WisCon or something?
I’m going both to WisCon and to Worldcon this year, barring any unforeseen issues. I’ve already reserved a room for the former, though I’m still looking for a room-mate. Costs are pretty low but doing two out-of-state conventions is going to stretch my budget!
Welcome to Livejournal! It’s fun to have another author here. The SF/F community seems to be slowly migrating over. I see your next book is coming out next month? I can’t wait! 😀
I Just Gotta Ask
Which of y’all drinks Mountain Dew?

Cliff – you *know* me. Do you really think I need caffeine?
