Yay for a day off from the day job!
Yay for being lazy all morning!
Yay for writing all afternoon!
Yay for crack night tonight!
I finished chapter six today. Wrote about 3500 words today — 20 pages long hand. Chapter is 36 pages long hand total, which should be about 6500 words when typed up. A little longer than usual, but that’s okay. A lot ended up happening in that chapter.
I don’t know what’s going to happen in chapter seven. I mean, I know what has to happen at the end, and I have a vague idea about the beginning of it, but the rest? Complete wash. And I like it that way. Jump off the cliff. I love writing that way.
After I finished writing I went for a walk. I think I would have scared anyone who watched me. I cackled a lot as all these wonderful ideas came up for chapters eight and nine. Torture and pain for all.

Awww — but it’s the good crack! Where I get together with a bunch of my girlfriends and play games (Wii, Boggle, Scattegories) and watch TV (Numb3rs, Burn Notice, Psych, depending on the time of year.) It’s a great time, a lovely girl’s night in, and we’ve just always called it crack night.
