Writing, WisCon and stuff

Yesterday’s writing prompt almost produced something — the prompt was “Dubious Intentions.” I kind of am sorry that it came up on a day when I was feeling so bleh. I might take it and do something that actually works at some point.

Today’s prompt was “Write about changing your mind.” I wrote a real revenge fantasy story, killing off my first ex husband. It was incredibly satisfying. Plus, might actually mine it later, because a couple of really cool images came up.

Here’s my preliminary WisCon schedule. . .

Other Places and Times (Reading Group) (Readings)
Friday, 1:00-2:15 p.m. in Conference Room 2

Cruise, Flirt, Pick-Up and Other Sexual-Social Strategies (Feminism, Sex, and Gender)
Sunday, 10:00-11:15 a.m. Sunday

Historical Worldbuilding (Writing SF&F: The Craft)
Sunday, 4:00-5:15 p.m.

Mid-Career Writers (Writing SF&F: The Craft)
Monday, 8:30-9:45 a.m.

Plus, this weekend is NorWestCon. I didn’t remember about it until it was too late to actually sign up for any programming. But I’ll be there this weekend. Maybe I’ll see some of you there!
