I finished typing up the first chapter of the new novel. Yay!

I’m so happy that I have this much finished. Now I just have to type up the second chapter, and then I can start on the revisions of the first novel, rewriting based on the comments from my first readers. I’ve already had some thoughts about the first novel, things that I want to add. We’ll see if my first readers agree. But I’m also really excited about the novel I’m currently writing. I’ve sketched out the first three scenes of the next chapter (chapter three) and I think I know what is going to happen in chapter four too. I know what the end of chapter five is, but I haven’t a clue yet about chapter six. Something big needs to happen in chapters seven and eight — and I can’t wait until I get to write those scenes too!

I’ll be in California starting on Sunday. I just found out today that the training I’m taking is actually going to be in San Mateo, so Sunday – Friday I’ll be there. Then I’ll switch hotels and be in San Francisco until the following Wednesday (5-15th)
