It’s Saturday — I slept in late, then took myself to the coffee shop. Rewrote the last chapter — didn’t require much work — added another 200 words or so there. Then I started the new chapter — did a full character analysis and plotted it out then wrote the first 500 words. I know my goal was 1000, but the plotting and character stuff took a lot longer than I anticipated. I’m still happy with it though, really happy with how this character is turning out, and practically ecstatic with being able to still hear her voice in my head.
This writing groove thing is the best thing EVAH when it’s working. It really sucks when it isn’t, but right now — it’s all very, very good.
Plan now is to write tomorrow morning (Sunday) and take Monday off. We’ll see how I’m feeling after Sunday. . .
