The Tuesday night writing thing at Remedy Teas was a *huge* success. Not only did I get a lot accomplished writing wise, I became instantly addicted to the Rooibos Vanilla Berry Truffle tea. So much so that I had to go back today at noon and buy some. Mmmmm. So good.
I wrote only about 1000 new words, finishing off chapter 10. Only when I finished, instead of being able to go on, I realized that I hadn’t finished typing up chapter 9. I finished that this morning, and here is the current typed words total:

Tomorrow I’ll start typing up chapter 10. I plan on finishing that before the weekend, so I can spend all day Saturday and Sunday writing. As well as cleaning — I am *not* going to let my place get as messy as I did.
While I was putzing around, I found some lovely icons at dakinigrl‘s LJ. And it made me want to make a few of my own. I put them under the cut. Feel free to share if you’d like! They’re all based on photos that I took in London.
REMEDY TEAS NOW OWNS ME.
I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL NEXT TUESDAY.
You know, if you’re nice and all, you *could* come over here sometime and have a cup of the Rooibos Vanilla Truffle Berry. . . As well as bask in the tropic heat.

mmmm tea. mmmmm london. i knew there was a reason i liked you. 🙂
that gives me an idea. i wonder if austin tea shops have wireless? if so, i’m fairly certain i could avoid the students by not going to coffee shops to write. much quieter. more relaxed. bigger tables. cool idea. thanks!
The place we went to has wireless. I don’t know if the other tea shops in Seattle do, it would surprise me if they didn’t – then again, this is Seattle, which is the second most wired city in the US.
But yes. Mmmmm. London. And Mmmmm. Tea. And I don’t actually have a tea icon! That needs to be fixed ASAP.
tea!
