I actually have been doing lots of writing work — just not posting again.
Printed out the first six chapters of the novel, along with the outline and sent those to the agent, who will present them to the editor sometime next week I believe. . .keep your fingers crossed. . .
Was stuck for a while on the latest chapter — that kind of hole in the outline which said, “Something brilliant needs to happen here.” Finally figured out what brilliant thing needed to happen, and am slowly starting to write it.
Wrote a new short story, re-edited another, have been sending them out for critique. Hoping to outline a new short story this weekend if there’s time.
Will be gone (again) this weekend — going to Convergence this weekend. As this isn’t a planned con, I’m actually not on any panels, don’t have any readings, signings, what have you. I figure I’ll either bum a place, or I’ll sit at the back and heckle.
