Happy turkey day!

To those of you who celebrate, I hope you have a wonderful day! My pumpkin pie is already in the oven. Once it’s finished, I’ll get on the exercise bike for a while, and at least pretend that it will make a difference in regards to the feast I’ll consume later today.

This is one of those very rare times when I talk about my beliefs.

One of my rituals is to give thanks to the Universe, every morning before I get up, and every evening before I go to bed. I’ve done this every day since late 1994 I believe. Sure, some days it’s more habit than true, thoughtful, gratitude, but most of the time, it isn’t.

I am so lucky, so blessed, in my life. I am loved. I am accepted by my family for who I am. I have a day job that I truly enjoy, with people who respect me and give me tremendous autonomy. I have my writing and all the other artistic things that I do to fill my soul. I have the time and the money to do these things as well. The Universe provides. And all I can do is to say thank you, every day.

So thank you, once again.
