Progress
I was invited to a lovely knitting (and other hand-work) party tonight. I haven’t knit for a long time. I’m doing a scarf, just for fun, using a simple scallop pattern and variegated yarn. I stopped a couple of times during the writing today, once to go get the yarn, once to start the project

I’ve finished the marked comments for chapters three and four. I know that I need to do more rewriting, more world-building stuff in chapter four. I didn’t write this morning. I suspect that the coffee I received the night before was not actually decaf, so I didn’t sleep at all. Tonight I went back out to a coffee shop, though, and finished typing up chapter five. It’s a little longer than I thought it would be. So the total word
General update
I didn’t write this morning — various reasons, including nightmares the night before, waking up with a horrible pressure headache just behind my eyes and feeling like I was 1000 years old. I did go to a coffee shop this evening and started typing up what I’d written by long-hand. 11 1/2 pages turned out
