I didn’t write this morning — various reasons, including nightmares the night before, waking up with a horrible pressure headache just behind my eyes and feeling like I was 1000 years old. I did go to a coffee shop this evening and started typing up what I’d written by long-hand. 11 1/2 pages turned out

I took my time this morning, goofing off, taking it easy. As a result, I figure I only did a couple thousand words today on chapter five. But I thought a lot as well. That story that I thought was an independent thing? It just became the prologue for the second book in this series.
