My birthday! December First! Ya’ll are invited to the big shindig! I figure since the first is on Friday night, the big party will wait until the second. But there will probably be festivities the evening of the first as well. More details to follow. . . PS. Note to holyoutlaw — there’s an interesting
I’ve finished the marked comments for chapters three and four. I know that I need to do more rewriting, more world-building stuff in chapter four. But I believe chapter three is finished, and I’m probably going to send it to people tomorrow. I need to start writing chapter six again. However, I need to actually
Still sick. Came down with a cold on Saturday and still haven’t fully recovered. I’m better, no doubt about that. But I’m not 100% yet. I need to get well, though, as this weekend is WFC. The only good thing about this (if there is such an aspect) is that I went and looked through

I took my time this morning, goofing off, taking it easy. As a result, I figure I only did a couple thousand words today on chapter five. But I thought a lot as well. That story that I thought was an independent thing? It just became the prologue for the second book in this series.
I finished typing up chapter four today. It’s a lot shorter than I thought it would be. I realized why that was happening as I typed it. There’s a *lot* of dialog in that chapter. When you have lines that only have “Thank you” written on them, well, there tend not to be as many
