Scary post!
Just because I can. . .
I finished handwriting chapter eleven this morning. It’s 36 handwritten pages, which should be right around 6000 words when I type it up. Before I wrote I did plotting, figuring out the key scenes of chapter twelve, as well as chapter thirteen. I still have more plotting to do of chapters thirteen and fourteen, but
Didn’t write tonight. Did go to Tai Chi. It was lovely. Still feeling the itch to write but I have to sleep! Wanted to share this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuxMJ8lnYA4 It’s by one of the main writers at TechDirt, one of the blogs I follow. One of the things that they talk about (a lot) is the whole

This morning, when I was thinking about the day, I realized that I was going to get to write tonight. I thought about it off and on all day. It’s so nice to have that fire back. Wrote another 1800 or so words tonight. Still not finished with chapter ten. But I still love where
I learned something very interesting this morning. As ya’ll may or may not know, I meet with a trainer once a week at the gym. (I’d love to go more than once a week, but it’s so expensive.) I’ve been doing this for a year and a half now. Because my core is so strong

I’ve finished typing up chapter nine this week. Here’s the word count meter. 51982 / 100000 I wrote about 2500 words today on chapter ten. I’m thrilled with where it’s going, how these characters are developing, and the arcs that are showing themselves to me. I have such a better idea how to refine these

I have a new grand niece! She was born last night at 11:55 PM. Both mother and baby are doing fine. Also, my other niece graduated this weekend from Emery-Riddle Aeronautic University, with a Bachelor’s in Aeronautical Science. I am immensely proud of her.
Tonight I went to see The BQE, Sufjan Stevens’ film about the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. It’s a pretty experimental film. I think I would have liked it more if I commuted on the BQE, if I knew more about it. This isn’t to say that I didn’t enjoy the film. I actually did. But that was
