I did about 500 words tonight on chapter 13. Basically, I wrote until I reached the point where, “and now, something brilliant happens.” I’m not sure what that brilliant thing is going to be yet. Hopefully I’ll figure it out by Thursday tea.

    I’ve found staring at the cursor helps inspire the brilliant thing to happen.

    Failing that, caffeine.

    Or doing something pleasant but totally unrelated, then getting back to it. 🙂
