The Online coffee shop plays 60s radio. It’s fun sometimes. I came here because I had to jam and finish typing up chapter 10. It turned out to be about as long as I thought it would be, that is, 5000 words. So the total typed words for the novel currently is: 57,528 / 100,000(57.5%)
Even though the cat didn’t wake me up early this morning, my brain did, forcing me to get up and start work early. Which means that I’ve done a *lot* today, actually typing up everything that I’ve written by hand so far. 48,718 / 100,000(48.7%) I believe that the handwritten words, which I’d guestamated at
Since my last writerly like post: Sunday — 8 pages Monday — 9 pages Tuesday — typing! Wednesday — typing! Thursday — typing, then should start writing again. Approximate written words for the month: 15,000 / 30,000(50.0%) Typed words to date: 41,215 / 100,000(41.2%) Now I’m uncertain if I’m going to make my NaNoWriMo goal.

Too much to do for the day job. Too much writerly stuff going on in my head (and some of it isn’t just my neurotic paranoia!) Too many interesting discussions that have been going by on my FL that I haven’t had the time to respond to, though they’ve given me even more writerly thoughts.
I took my time this morning, goofing off, taking it easy. As a result, I figure I only did a couple thousand words today on chapter five. But I thought a lot as well. That story that I thought was an independent thing? It just became the prologue for the second book in this series.
I finished typing up chapter four today. It’s a lot shorter than I thought it would be. I realized why that was happening as I typed it. There’s a *lot* of dialog in that chapter. When you have lines that only have “Thank you” written on them, well, there tend not to be as many
