I have a timer on the work computer (as well as the home computer.) I work for 55 minutes, then I’m supposed to take a 5 minute break. I recently made myself a standing desk for doing the day job (nothing fancy — a bunch of books on one of my end tables.) Instead of

I leave Seattle October 16th. I will not be finished rewriting the first novel by then, though I’m making a real effort. There are just too many things to do on the weekends for me to dive into it for hours and hours. *sigh* I will be close to finished. I hope. I’m currently in
Had a marvelous weekend with out of town friends. Didn’t write much (at all) but that’s okay. Will hit it hard every day after this. Still haven’t rented my place out yet. *sigh* Am concerned about it. If it happens, it happens. I only need one person. But I really kind of would like to

During the end of the six week challenge, as well as immediately afterward, I felt as though I’d lowered the level of water in the old creative well. I didn’t drain it — water was still in the well, if I’d needed it, I could have gone deep enough to get at it. But it
Because there haven’t been enough updates about the fabulous princess, and I know some of you are just here for the kitty, right?
Didn’t write much last night. Figured it was some weird end of project blues. Felt somewhat out of it this AM. Still went to workout but left before workout actually started-felt worse during the warm up. Now I feel awful and am sick. Too sick to write even. Some kind of cold. Blek. I had
