Continuing On

So my cat, Kiera, has decided that she’s going to be a lap kitty from now on. I adopted my kitty back in spring 2006, from a shelter. Vet estimates that she was between a year to a year and a half old. The people before me had abandoned her – they’d moved out of […]

Orycon 40!

Just finishing up Orycon, the Oregon science fiction convention that we go to every year, down in Portland. Have had a marvelous time. Was on five panels this year. The first was one we just volunteered for – they needed more people for the “Publishing Co-op or Small Press?” panel. Blaze talked of a third

Halfway There

The cold is lingering. Not because it’s that awful of a cold, but because I haven’t been able to sleep for the last two nights.   Let me explain.   Monday I felt fine. Was planning on going back to the gym on Tuesday.   Then, Monday night, I couldn’t fall asleep. Couldn’t figure out

More Data

So it turned out that yesterday was the first day of my period.   I wasn’t expecting it. I felt too good for that. It was kind of a surprise. Plus, it was seven days early.   However, I remember a time when my periods used to be that mild. When it was always kind

Interruptions

The plan this morning was for me to pack up my computers, come over here to the tiny house, and write like the wind. (For those of you playing along at home, during the week, I live in the tiny house on the property that my husband and I own. I spend the weekends in
