Managing LJ
One of the reasons why I don’t frequent this LJ is because the FL is daunting. I used to have the policy of just friending back everyone who friended me. But there are 170 people on it and it’s too big. So I’m “defriending” a bunch of folks — just to make it this LJ
Orycon and beyond
Orycon was fun, and I got very inspired, as usual. I didn’t attend that much of the con — disappeared and was quiet a lot, got a lot of sleep, spent time writing. What parts I did participate in were fun. I don’t know if I’ll attend next year — it’s really going to depend

I just officially passed the halfway point in the rewrite of the first novel. I believe that the other chapters won’t require the amount of massaging that these did, but we’ll see. rewrites
The rewrites keep halting. I come to a section that needs some work and I can’t just push through it. I need to step back, to think, to let my unconscious figure out what really needs to go there. Then I steam forward again — until the next section. It isn’t like the sections that
