Typed up the antepenultimate chapter this afternoon. Was so excited about being so close to the end I also ended up writing the penultimate chapter out by hand, about 2500 words, in a single sitting with barely moving because it was so close.…
Of the novel, that is.
I spent this evening brainstorming. I’ve been running into issues, and the most recent chapter has been almost impossible to write for a bunch of reasons.
I have finally figured out what the next chapter has to be, and the point of view it must be from.…
I guess it’s been a while since I updated. Oops.
The novel is going well, but I fear that it’s a lot longer than 60,000 words, particularly if I add in all the short stories I’ve been writing as background.

That’s the name of the short story I just finished. It’s about 5500 words, set in 1910, in Germany. I think it’s next “chapter” for “The Guardian Hound.”
Or rather, it’s part of the mythos of this novel. Does it go where I currently have it?…
I’ve gotten into the habit of writing. I’m going to have to start the day job again tomorrow, but really, all I want to do is to write the next chapter of “The Guardian Hound.”
