rewrite update

I continue to make great progress with the rewrites. I finished the character edit, figured out the prologues and rewrote the epilogues, and am almost finished with the Witch edit. There are other edits that I’ve done parts of when I ran across them — I just have to finish them up.…

The power of the push

Yesterday wasn’t the greatest day for me, emotionally. Today I feel pretty crappy physically.

However, I wrote both days. Before the big push I probably wouldn’t have written either day. I didn’t have a choice. I had to write. I didn’t do a lot — maybe only 30-45 minutes each day.…

But in real time, it’s only been a week.…

Progress

I was cursing madly this morning while I drove out to write. But the 100 day push has been an incredibly effective strategy to get me off my butt and working on the rewrite, every single day.

I’ve finished doing this character edit in the first novel, and have started doing it in the second.…
