The Greater Oregon Fairy Kingdom hides beneath the Pacific Ocean cliffs. Between their own lost dreams, battles with the dwarves, and the encroaching humans, the kingdom continues to diminish. Only two young humans can save them now.

Will Dale, the young human Tinker, answer their dreams? Can he repair the malfunctioning clockwork of the kingdom? Help them finish their great machine? Can they make him care enough?

Or will Nora, his twin sister and a human Maker, align herself with the hated dwarves and destroy the fairies instead?

The Clockwork Fairy Kingdom–the first novel in this exciting New Adult trilogy–combines fast-paced action with magic and modern day clockwork. A delightful read for all ages!

Be sure to read the other two books in the trilogy, The Maker, the Teacher, and the Monster and The Dwarven Wars.

Previously published as Clockwork Kingdom.

Background of The Clockwork Fairy Kingdom

I wrote this book immediately taking Dean Wesley Smith’s workshop on cliffhangers. This book has a lot of scenes, because I was practicing cliffhangers. I wrote the first draft during the Clarion West write-a-thon, finishing the entire novel in just six weeks.

It’s been through two rewrites since then, as well as a copy edit. And it’s recently been through yet another comb through, as well as another copy edit, in preparation for the second novel in the trilogy, titled, The Maker, the Teacher, and the Monster.

The second novel picks up when the twins are 18, the last summer before they both leave to go to different colleges.

The final novel in the trilogy is now available as well! The Dwarven Wars takes place about three months after the end of Maker-Teacher-Monster.
