Weight went down this week. I’m now two pounds away from my goal weight. Though it might have seemed as though my weight stalled, it actually hadn’t. Not really. I was retaining water for a while. As soon as that drained, my weight dropped.
I figure this is probably as good as it’s going to get, though we’ll see. Every pound that I took off means less stress on my knee, so even if I don’t make my goal weight, what I’ve done is really good.
Last week, I averaged 10K steps per day. And it was all walking, too. I wasn’t painting too much or anything. Most of those steps were really steps. Will do a lot more this week as well. I will also get back to doing more yoga in the mornings, as well as more of my PT exercises.
Email – I’m completely behind. Haven’t even looked at it all weekend. The plan is to catch up this week. We’ll see.
Writing – I wrote every day this week. I even started a new short story. This was one of those times when I realized that I’m really a writer. My fiction brain was NOT happy with just doing non-fiction all the time. As soon as I had even a little bit more energy, brain came up with a new story. Don’t know where it’s going, though I believe it’s a mystery. It’s just nice to have a story to write. Doing 250 words per day on it, and thinking about it in between times.
ION, in case you missed the other announcement, my care manager called this morning first thing, letting me know that my insurance company has approved my knee surgery.
I cannot tell you the amount of relief I feel. The weight that lifted was palpable. Just wow.
So this week will be full of appointments and scheduling and getting everything done before the surgery.
Uhm…that list is kinda long. And scary. Better get to it.
