Gain a little weight. Not surprising given that we had pizza, as well as cookies last week. Plus, my period is going to start, and there might be weight gain from that as well. My hope is that in a couple of weeks, I’ll actually show up as having lost weight, as that’s how it feels.

As for walking, I managed over 9K average for the week, and that’s what I’m always aiming for. I cannot maintain a goal of 10K steps per days. There are days (like today) when that would kill me. An average of 9K per week, with 3-4 days at 10K, is reasonable for me.

As for writing, well…I was planning on looking at the novel again this morning.

Ain’t gonna happen.

Woke up with a pretty bad headache and cramps. Today is a Meh day. In terms of Meh days, today ranks as pretty mild. I will write some nonfiction, possibly another Medium article. I actually have one written that I need to post, about sleep. The new one is about balance.

I’m doing all the things that I’m supposed to do when I have a Meh day, so that hopefully in an hour or so I’ll feel better.

I am *not hungry* on days like today. Not interested in food.

However, I’ve also learned through trial and error that eating food, in particular, a LOT of fat, makes me feel better on days like today.

Generally, I don’t eat anything in the mornings. All I have is plain tea. No calories. I actually like the feeling I get from that. I stop eating at 6 PM the night before, then don’t eat again until 10 or 11 AM. I get a huge burst of energy doing that.

This morning, one of the first things I did was to drink my bone broth. OMG. This week’s batch is so yummy. It’s primarily chicken, with some beef soup bones thrown in. It’s also incredibly gelatinous. It does not pour. I have to scoop it out with a ladle.

I’ve also had some macadamia nut butter, and my LCLT. Now, I’m drinking my tea, which is made up of hibiscus, elderberries, ginger, and lemon balm. Yum.

Today, I may go and work in the garden. That’s about my speed right now. I have seed sprouted bachelor buttons, black-eye Susans, and marigolds. Want to get those in the ground so I can seed sprout kale and caladium.

I think that’s about it for me. One of the things that has helped has been a purring kitty in my lap. It’s Monday morning, and we moved from the main house to the tiny house. After she had her food, she stood on the green chair and yelled at me until I stopped moving around, sat down, and provided her with a lap.

How is your Monday going? Any exciting plans for the week?
