I did not gain any weight while I was sick. I also didn’t lose any. I take that as a win.

I’m slowly building my strength back up. Saturday I walked 5K steps, Sunday I walked 6.5K. Today the goal is between 7-8. Not more. I won’t aim for 10K until Wednesday or Thursday.

Though I slept close to eight hours last night, I didn’t sleep deeply, so I’m tired this morning. I’ve got to get back into the habit of reading from a paperback in the evenings. I just haven’t had the brain recently. Time to see if I can do that again.

I feel as though I’m behind in terms of business, though in some aspects, I caught up. Because I was sick, I did a lot of brainless cleanup that needed doing. Not all of it, but a lot of it. So what’s left are bigger ticket items that actually require some work and effort. I can do this.

Even though I was sick this last week, I still kept up with my Hungarian. Unsurprisingly, it started to make more sense yesterday than it had been. 😉 I’m glad that Duolingo is mostly review at this point – not trying to learn a lot of new stuff was all I could handle while I was sick. I have quite a streak going – have spoken Hungarian every day for 274 days at this point. Am looking forward to doing it every day for a year. Then I may break my streak. I may not. We’ll see.

I made myself a mask this weekend, following this pattern: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1SZ4c9NyX9pKG_qL50ZD4cD7ASMds0LYl

I used bias tape folded in half and sewn for both the loops as well as the tie. I found I didn’t need a wire over my nose. It fits me well (I used the Adult Medium sized pattern.)

This morning was a normal morning. Got up, grabbed the cat, came over to the tiny house. While I adore my husband, and we’re still getting along well, I’m really happy to be on my own again. (^_^)

Because I’m so tired I’m not going to attempt fiction this morning. Instead, I’m going to write up something for the Milestone Publisher’s newsletter.

What’s that? Blaze and I are putting out a monthly newsletter that’s focused on publishing information. He’s talked about it quite a bit in his blog, I figured I should do some pimping of it myself, now that I’ve got my site updated with a signup for the newsletter.

And I think that’s it for this morning. Thank you for all the support while I was ill.

What are you doing today? How are you doing? Figured I should check in. I hope everyone is safe and well.
