Figured I should do a post on some of the goings on at the house. First off, some kombucha and some kvass! Plus some of the last of the fruit that we’ve harvested. It’s been a good year.

The kvass didn’t taste too good in the end. I figure I added too much ginger. Am making a second batch now, that’s a fruit kvass. See if I can get something tasty.

The kombucha is OMG good. So very tasty! Not too sour, just tangy and delicious. Have already started a second batch of that as well.

These are glass weights that I put into a bag in order to hold down all the fruit for the kvass, keep it submerged.

Latest harvest! Might be a few more things, but mostly we’re done for the year. The last few blueberries, a couple of figs, and all the grapes.
