As expected, not only did I not lose weight last week, I gained some of what I’d lost back.
This week, I need to actually get back on the diet and do the things I need to do to start losing weight again.
It has been a very educational experience however, seeing just how fast the weight came back on. I suspect that merely monitoring my weight once I reach my goal is not going to be enough. It’s far, *far* too easy for me to overeat. I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet, but I’ll figure out something.
I also realize that this last week wasn’t normal. We had out of town guests, a party, and went out to eat several times. However, it also wasn’t that far out of the ordinary. I’m going to need to be able to handle these sorts of spikes. Possibly I’ll just have to always accept that the week after this sort of week, I will need to carefully track my food and reduce my intake for a week.
Anyway, it was a good week. I don’t regret the choices I made. This week, I get to make better ones. (^_^)
