I figure that’s a great headline, right?

I had a few headaches in November. 4, in fact. All of them occurred the week of my period.

But no migraines. None. Zero. Zilch.

And I feel good. I have hopes that I won’t have any migraines in December, either. We’ll see what actually happens, but I’m optimistic. Particularly since my cycle happened while I was at Orycon. There were so many things that could have ended up with a migraine, but didn’t.

A) The long drive down. Frequently such drives were migraine triggers for me.

B) Not eating as cleanly as usual. I’m sure the people at the restaurant meant well. But I’m also pretty sure, based on the headaches I had, that there was a lot of cross contamination going on. I didn’t figure out what I *could* eat until the second or third day.

C) Lots of stimulation and noise. Also frequently migraine triggers.

But again, I never had a headache that transformed into a migraine. I did have one day of a pretty bad headache, just before I went to bed. It never fully developed into a migraine, and it was gone by morning.

I’m not making any real changes to my diet, though I’m not always as strict now as I have been. Or rather, I’ll push it for a day or two, then I’ll get strict for two to three days, then I’ll push my limits again. It seems to be working for me. And I do get headaches when I push too much.

I hope that everyone is surviving this holiday season with as little stress as possible.
