The bad news: had one migraine this week. It was hormone related.

The good news: Had only one day with a really bad headache, despite being sick! This is nothing short of miraculous for me. Generally, when I come down with any kind of cold, I also get non-stop headaches and migraines. Not this time!

My sweetie came down with a cold and then shared it with me. Have been pretty out of it the last couple of days. Right now, it sounds as though I’ve been smoking three packs of cigarettes a day for years, given the rough, deep, nature of my voice.

But I don’t have a headache. I honestly don’t remember the last time I didn’t have a headache when I got sick.

Because I’m sick, I’m not retrying dairy this week. Will wait until next week.

ION: I’ve been making this wonderful fermented coconut to drink as a probiotic. I loved it, loved the taste of it, etc.

However, after a few weeks, I realized that my body was no longer loving it. I was having issues that all went away as soon as I stopped drinking it. (Let’s just say I was no longer having good poops.)

Finally figured out today that the probiotic capsule I was using to ferment the coconut milk has extra magnesium in it. And why, yes, the issues I was having with the fermented coconut milk are identical to the issues I have when I have too much magnesium in my diet.

So I’m switching to a different probiotic capsule that doesn’t have magnesium added to it, then am going to try the fermented coconut milk again…but next week. I need to take this week for my body to heal.
