Last week, after three months, I added eggs back into my diet only to discover I was really allergic to them.

This week, I added back in dairy. The result was…mixed.

Unfortunately, I added four types of dairy all at the same time: butter, soft cheese, sour cream, and hard, aged cheese.

I didn’t have an immediate reaction. With the eggs, I started getting sick after 20 minutes.

However, it took three hours for me to develop a headache. I’m pretty sure it was one of the types of dairy that caused it. If I had to bet, I would guess that it was the hard, aged cheese.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be trying the different types of dairy to see which actually set me off. Not being able to have any dairy would suck, but I could live with it. I have been.

So I will try butter first, see if that bothers me. Or maybe the sour cream, as the butter will stay good and the sour cream won’t last that long. See if I can pinpoint types of dairy i can or cannot have. And deal with the headaches.
