I haven’t written this week. Nor am I going to. I’m here in SF for the day job. It’s the big annual convention for my company.

My schedule tomorrow:

7 – noon: Work with customers on the tutorials
12:45 – 2: host a lunch/round table discussion
2:15 – 3:15: help with hands on training
3:30 – 4:30: attend product session
8 – ??: company gala

Thursday and Friday are just as packed.

Did I mention not writing this week? Cause yeah.

  1. Yep. I’m traveling for work this week, giving seminars at academic accounts in Texas. Theoretically I should have plenty of time, since the talk is less than two hours. In reality I have very little control over my schedule. I cheerfully go along with whatever the local rep needs me to do.

This time I’m working very hard to be good about exercising. I just did 30 minutes on a stationary bike and I did ab exercises this morning. Not great, but better than nothing. I figure this is part of the trade-off of having a salaried job that is usually 40 hours a week instead of 50 or 60 hours.
