I hope that those of you who celebrate have had a wonderful holiday season, or at the very least as stress free as it can be. Me — I’m so very, very lucky. I have a wonderful family and have had such a fabulous time here. We’ve had two days of lots of people around all the time. Today, Saturday, is kind of the day “off” — just my brother, his wife, and me. We’re doing typical Saturday things, like going to the store and finishing painting the hallway and putting together a brochure for one of my brother’s organizations — like that. Puttering with some work and a lot of talking and fun. Tomorrow the family will come over for Sunday dinner, as they do every Sunday. There will be 19 people (the day after Christmas we had 22). This includes the two 3 year olds and the two 1 year olds. Then on Monday I fly back to Seattle.

Now for the odd Google question. I have a Google alert set up with my name. I want to know when someone does a review of my books (very infrequently, now, but it happens.) One came in yesterday with what looked like a review of my book. The web address looked real. However, it was a spoofed site. It was trying its darndest to infect my computer with nasty things.

Maybe this kind of thing happens frequently to other people, but I have three different Google alerts set up, they all send me one email at least once a day, and this is the first time I’ve had this happen. I’d like to be able to forward the email to Google so they’d know that this was happening. However, I can’t figure out where to send it to Google. They have no customer support to speak of. Anyone have a suggestion?
