Now I’m uncertain if I’m going to make my NaNoWriMo goal. We’ll see what happens over the holiday weekend. I expected to be further along in my word count than this. . . But then again, this isn’t a contest for me. I need to write the best damn novel I can, and if that means taking time to sit and think, then I sit and think.
