I finished typing up chapter four today. It’s a lot shorter than I thought it would be. I realized why that was happening as I typed it. There’s a *lot* of dialog in that chapter. When you have lines that only have “Thank you” written on them, well, there tend not to be as many words.

So this is now my total word count:

I finished the rewrites on chapter two and sent that out. I’m going to let chapters three and four sit this weekend before I start the rewrites on them. In the meanwhile, tomorrow, chapter five! Whee!
