Writing and stuff

I had a lovely weekend at Convergence this past weekend. In addition to some quality Dad-time, I hung out with badger2305, buccaneer, dddragonlady, and pisces3857, to name a few (in alphabetic order, because I’m anal like that.)

Didn’t get a whole lot of sleep the last couple of nights. And the pollen count is currently through the roof (we’ve had a *lot* more rain than usual around here.) So I’m reserving judgement on my actual state of health for a while yet. (In other words, I Am Not Sick, and I will continue to proclaim that I Am Not Sick, though I may exhibit some symptoms of a cold currently.)

Wrote regardless this AM — did about 500 words on the novel, as well as a rewrite of the current chapter. Yesterday morning was a wash, as I knew it would be because of extreme tiredness. Am planning on working on the novel every day this week, then on the weekend, writing another short story. I have the next outlined (thanks again to buccaneer for letting me pick his brain about all stuff Roman.)

Oh — and the agent really likes the new novel. *dances* Keep your fingers crossed that the editor does as well, that I’m not one of the authors scheduled for the cutting block.

Think that’s about it for now. . .Hope ya’ll had a lovely fourth and are having a great summer as well.

*random smooches and hugs*

  1. Roman stuff…

I do believe that that is the best discussion I have *ever* had on the topic of Roman military/religious interaction *ever*-thank you!!!

“I’m still geeking out over it!” (sorry, movie quote)

Thanks again for all the help. As soon as I get better and have more than two brain cells functioning at a time, will be working on that story.
